Guidelines for Study Start at UCPH
The University of Copenhagen has adopted guidelines for the Study Start on the university’s bachelor, professional bachelor and master’s degree programmes.
The new guidelines for the start of describes what new students at the University of Copenhagen should expect from the Study-start of their studies. The guidelines outline the basic principles that will support the quality, common practice and harmonization across the study-start activities. The principles focus on the organization, governance, and quality assurance of study-start, and the Code of Conduct that must be followed by all employees and volunteers working with, planning, executing and evaluating the Study-start at the University's study programmes.
The guidelines are supplemented by four different sets of Frameworks for the Good Study-start at the University's study programmes, describing the themes of the Study-start and the learning objectives. Study-start activities at the University must be organised in accordance with the frameworks and guidelines.
The faculties draw up their own procedures for study-start.
