Quality Assurance Organisation
Quality assurance at the University is based on clear allocation of responsibilities in terms of management and follow-up, at both University and faculty level and in the interaction between them.
The Rector has overall responsibility and takes advice from the Study Administration Co-ordination Committee (SAK), the Academic Board on Education Strategy (KUUR), the Rector's Office and the Management Team. The University Board is informed about the status for the University's efforts in quality assurance of study programmes.
The Dean has ultimate responsibility at faculty level, and therefore has overall responsibility for the quality assurance of the faculty’s study programmes. The faculties describe their quality assurance systems on their websites.
