Quality Assurance Organisation

Quality assurance at the University is based on clear allocation of responsibilities in terms of management and follow-up, at both University and faculty level and in the interaction between them.

Rector has overall responsibility and takes advice from the Study Administration Co-ordination Committee (SAK), the Academic Board on Education Strategy (KUUR), the Executive Management and the Management Team.

University Education Services (US) is the link between the faculties and senior University management. US assures the quality of the Faculty Reports on Quality Assurance before these are submitted to the management.

The Dean has ultimate responsibility at faculty level, and therefore has overall responsibility for the quality assurance of the faculty’s study programmes. The faculties describe their quality assurance systems on their websites.
