Policy for the Quality Assurance of Study Programmes

Policy for the Quality Assurance of Study Programmes at the University of Copenhagen is based on European Standard and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area and the guidelines of the Danish Accreditation Institution.

On 1. september 2016 a revised policy for quality assurance take effect:

The University policy is implemented at faculty level and described on faculty websites. It includes faculty policy, strategy and procedures, with a clearly identified allocation of responsibilities. In other words, the day-to-day quality assurance work is devolved and reflects the organisation, quality culture and traditions of the faculties.
In spring 2014, the University conducted an internal peer review of the overall quality assurance system, focusing on how the faculties implement University policy.
